Scottland was bascially amazing. I wrote a huge blog about it,... but it erased somehow so I will just give you the highlights! Living in a mixed hostel is very interesting-funny memories and extremely long bedtime stories thanks to Jacob. We got tickets for the sound of music at great student discounts and it was soo neat. The actors all looked exactly like the movie. Everywhere we walked was a workout in of itself. All the streets were hilly because the city was built on an old volcano. We got a free walking tour with a very interesting young lady named Kate. Kate gave us the insiders stories about Scottland. My favorite part of the trip was heading up to St. Andrews. We got to walk on the Old Golf course and stand on the famous bridge!!! I think Grant and Jacob were more exctied than Kristi and I. At night, when it was almost dark, we headed out to a break wall that went into the North Sea. The wind was blowing, the rain was heavy, and the waves were so high. We ventured to the end of the wall and climbed up to the top to watch the powerful waves come in. It was so stunning. God is so powerful and catches our breath when we are not expecting it. I love water and how captivating it is. Needless to say, we got drenched and were fully satisfied of our adventure!!
